Practical Art Instruction Book of the Year

ARTIST'S LITTLE BOOK OF INSPIRATION
Hazel Soan

Re-worked from Hazel's earlier book, What Shall I Paint?, this is rather more than just a re-hash and has become a book to dip into for ideas and (as the title suggests) inspiration. It's now a collection of short paragraphs like Highlights & Shadows, Improvisation, Colour & Character or Changing the Light that aim to point you in the right direction, or maybe just a different one. It's not, I think, something the read through for structured teaching, but rather a book to pick up and dip into at random.

Packed with Hazel's own beautiful paintings (even a simple sketch can't fail to get the juices flowing!), this will inspire, surprise and delight
